Shanghai Expo products begin sales in December

Sales of Shanghai Expo franchise products will begin on December 3, the anniversary date on which the world expo was decided to be held in Shanghai.
Chairman of Shanghai Good Future Garment Co., Ltd., one of the first two sponsors of Shanghai Expo, Zhun Zhengping, told Shanghai Morning Post that Shanghai was chosen to hold the 2010 World Expo on December 3, 2002 and they also chose the special date to begin retail sales. His company will debut six kinds of franchise of symbolic or mascot products, like clothing, stationery and accessories.
Another six kinds of franchise of symbolic or mascot products, like toy, ceramic goods and bags will be produced by another sponsoring company, JuneYao Group.
The two sponsoring companies will also entrust some qualified firms to produce franchised products.
Chen Xianjin, deputy director of Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, said the specific sales points have not been decided yet, but he promised reasonable product prices to meet the demand of common citizens.
